Applus+ Automotive consolidates its expansion in Latin America with new contracts in Ecuador and Uruguay

    Applus+ Automotive, one of the world's largest operators of regulatory vehicle inspections, has strengthened its position in Latin America, where it has been operating since 1997, thanks to the acquisition of new contracts.
    The division has arrived in Uruguay after being awarded two concessions to carry out obligatory technical revisions (RTOs) on heavy goods vehicles, with two new centres in Soriano and Canelones.
    These two concessions, the maximum per company according to the specifications, were achieved after obtaining the highest scores in both respective offers compared to other bidders taking part in the process.

    In Ecuador, Applus+ Automotive has obtained a concession contract, which will run until 2027, from Durán municipality’s Mobility and Transport Company after presenting bids combining quality and service, both key factors in the Ecuadorian market.

    As such, Applus+ begins operations in Ecuador with a firm footing on which to acquire new contracts in the future.
